Dominic Perry is the Eternal Sustainer of History Podcasting
I listen to many history podcasts and this one stands as one of the strongest among them. The depth of knowledge Dominic provides shines like Ra, compared to many other history enthusiasts podcasters. (No offense arm-chair historians podcasters, but I really to notice a difference in content from someone who makes that their profession). I had listened to Scott Chessworth's Ancient World and Rob Monico's History of Our World, where both gloss through Egypt and give you something you might find at a high school level World History Course. I'm not saying that's bad, both of them had much larger and broader histories to cover. But after getting the gist from those podcast I really enjoy the depth and engaging structure of The Egyptian History Podcast. ps. the intro and outro music go on a bit long.Read full review »

Dominic Perry has a very easy to listen to but very factual approach to this podcast. It is very clear he knows his subject very well and is passionate about it. If you have any interest at all in agent Egypt, and this is much more than just the Pharoahs, then this is the place for you.
