Have listened to a few episodes & have really enjoyed what I have heard. One on the best debut novels where it was noted the countries with great literature. This did not include Australia & I have to protest to this as Australia has written some great novels especially in the last 50 years. This is a great podcast so keep up the good work & try reading an Australian classic like 'The Fortunes of Richard Mahony' by Henry Handel Richardson.Read full review »

Quite simply the best podcast out there on the history of literature. Accept no imitations. My favorite episodes are when Jacke and Mike Palindrome take off the gloves and have at it (I'll even forgive Mike for dissing Don Quixote).Read full review »

I think the part I like the most about this show is the author's vocal style, which always seems just on the edge of being tongue-in-cheek, while still delivering solid musings and reflections on some of the greatest works in the literary canon.Read full review »

This is an amazing podcast. Covers so much but in a way that is entertaining as well as informative and very funny. Jacke Wilson really nails what’s wonderful about literature and the endeavor/struggle in trying to spend every waking moment reading and discussing it.
