This history lecture is not boring!
A great and concise retelling (not lecturing) of the history of Rome from it's humble and deceptive beginnings to its whimpering end. Mike Duncan does not lecture in a single monotone voice that would put caffeinated college students to sleep, but does it in a way that adds enough color and description as to not change the history, but make it seem relevent and exciting. If you know plenty of Roman history, you'll appreciate its simplicity yet able to convey a sense of the Romans. If you don't, you'll learn and be entertained all at the same time!Read full review »

Mike Duncan delivers this podcast beautifully. The information is fantastic and has taught me a great deal about our Roman ancestors. Keep it up Mike! Is there any chance that we could have two or three a week?
