“Found this podcast after listening to the "History of Rome" podcast. Does an excellent job of going into obscure topics and diving deep into things that are relevant today. Others have complained that the narrator's affect is flat ... honestly I prefer that and find it an easy listen. I honestly don't care if he reads off the page as long as it is original work (which it is) and weaves a good narrative (which it does). Keep it up!”Read full review »

You would think with each new podcast there would be growth with the host, but alas no.

“I enjoy the effort, the content is rather compelling. It's difficult to hear the narrator struggle as he pronounces names and places incorrectly. The tone is somewhat flat, and the whole thing sounds a bit like a nervous student giving an informative speech in their speech 101 class.
