“This is a fantastic Church history podcast. As a practicing Catholic with degrees in both history and theology, Terry does a great job of narrating the various significant dramas and episodes that make up early Church history. He roots his narrative in the best New Testament and Patristic sources and strikes a great ecumenical tone.
I’m giving it four stars only because he hasn’t gotten to his stated goal of ending at 451, but the episodes so far are great and recommended!”

“Knowing little about the early Church, this podcast has been perfect place to start. Descriptions of various persecutions and the martyrs are compelling. Discussion of various heresies is fascinating. The podcast is a gentle pleasure and sure to lead to more reading and understanding.”
