Historical Brilliance
A great background to WW2. The first 20 podcasts look at the build up to war and all the involved countries and leaders’ motivations (and their backgrounds) which is a brilliant study into an often overlooked area. After this point Ray describes the happenings of the war with all the behind the scenes information to give a full picture of what's happening where. Biggest criticism I have is it's too long to wait for the next podcast but with the amount of research Ray puts in to each episode, it doesn't surprise me. The majority of us enjoy Ray's grappling with place names.Read full review »

This is my favorite podcast! Ww2, Ray does his homework! Great stuff, at one point he mentioned an audiobook that you listen to for some time after you park the car, he should know, i do that with his podcast! Ty

Dr
This is absolutely one of the best podcasts on iTunes , the guy sure knows a lot and does it in a way that make some order in all of the events that took place in that chaotic period of human history.
