“Before listening to this podcast i had little interest in WW2 beyond the occasional film on TV.
I picked it out at random one day recently and haven't stopped listening since. The level of detail is first class , though Ray keeps the narrative moving along at a great pace. I have learned so much and have a new found respect for the people of Finland , who fought the Russians, and other european countries who fought so hard at the start of the war in the face of ridiculous odds.
