“I love this show because they get right to the point and having several commentators (Matt Larkin, Ryan Kennedy, Ken Cambell and others) lends a balanced discussion with multiple points of view and the ability to get a lot covered. It's a nice complement to shows like the Hockey PDOcast or 31 Thoughts which are generally more focused and detailed and sometimes get a little dry. Don't get me wrong, I love both those shows (with PDOcast being especially great) and this doesn't mean the Hockey News is light on hockey knowledge - it's just that they gets things done more efficiently which is very much to my liking. I also like that the show has several segments which are led by a specific commentator with subject knowledge. Ryan runs the "future watch" and Ken does the "hot take" (IMO the perfect choice for this segment given his thorny personality). I look forward to this podcast each week. “Great content on the original Hockey News podcast, but unfortunately, the 2-3 side shows comes in randomly with the subscription. If I wanted more content, like Iron Mike or Gooche, I’d subscribe to it... by myself.”

“Great podcast, very entertaining.
Only complaint is that there is a huge difference in the loudness of the 2 hosts. This is consistently an issue, I can barely hear the one guy and then the other one starts speaking and it’s really loud.”
