“This is my favourite podcast. Even though I'm a musician and not an actor, I just love the honesty on this podcast! How the actors admit to going months without work, or how they spend years without an agent or any support. And how hard that can be. And how connections are still a very vital part of them getting jobs. In most musician podcasts they never mention the struggles musicians have or the help they've gotten to get to where they are. Which promotes unrealistic views of what the creative industry is like. Of course you're gonna succeed with a great team behind you, but for those still looking for support it's hard. And I just love how The Honest Actors Podcast never brushes past these first few years or decades where things are really hard. Thanks so much for putting on this show Jonathan.
