Both Tim’s are insufferable
WyntonJelly via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 06/18/24
These dude are so noodle armed chinless and untoned. Nothing worse than complete non-competitors doing their little sideline jibber jabber as real men compete. They say things like "in the games that matter ..." All games matter. This is how dudes like this categorize their life. Some...Read full review »

Tim Bontempts needs to stop begging for interviews with the Celtics players and FO. It is very transparent does the show a disservice

Windhorst is a clown. Either doesn’t know anything about basketball or doesn’t care. Either way it’s disqualifying as as an analyst.
Kody41 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 06/13/24
I love Tim Bontemps! He doesn’t speak to much, the show works because Bontemps is the foil to Brian and Banned Macmahon. That’s literally the show. I am surprised at so much Bontemps hate. He provides the realistic perspective while Brian gives the optimistic respective while Macmahon is the...Read full review »

I love this podcast. Windhorst, Bontemps and McMahon appear to have a great personal relationship which manifests itself in the actual podcast. They’re funny, plugged in and knowledgeable. If you’re an NBA fan, this is a must listen

Good show. Keep on the good work Windy

Bontemps…just admit you love being negative. Tell the truth. You are the living embodiment of “Well actually…” Yawn. You are physically unable to say something nice about one person without taking potshots at another. The absolute antithesis of good time. Also, the movie in question is “Say...Read full review »

Love this pod! But CANNOT stand to listen to Tim Bontemps! So boring and one sided! Very biased

Holy moly. Can y’all let Windy speak! His name is on the podcast!

Can you stop calling him Karl Towns. His name has a dash. Karl-Anthony Towns

I listen to this show every M-W-F. Wake up around 5:30AM, put on the show at 6AM.

Will resume listening when Bontemps is replaced 🙏🏼

I love hearing Windy talk. I like hearing Bam talk. But Bontempts will not shut up long enough for me to hear them talk. Get him out of here, he’s a poor podcaster. Let the good guys speak
Pbgiytrd via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 05/20/24
I love listening to Windy and McMahon but Bontemps ruins this whole podcast. With his constant whining, negativity, and interrupting of the others he makes this unlistenable. I’m done. I’ll check back in when Bontemps is replaced.

5 stars for the Bontemps “oh god” to end the latest episode.
SeattleHoopsWillRiseAgain via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 05/06/24
I was going to leave this a 5 star but Chris Bontemps interrupted me. This guy could never have his own show because no one would want to go on a podcast just to be interrupted constantly.
Albatron1987 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 05/06/24
Why do people listen to this guy? Averaging a 4.0/5 says it all. That’s basically like having a C- grade. He’s an obese, typical ESPN figurehead who won’t do any analysis isn’t obvious. Has this guy ever touched a basketball in his life?

I love the NBA and grew to love Windy from his appearances on ESPN and other shows, so I started listening to his show. I still like Windy, but Tim Bontemps is so negative, which makes the show hard to enjoy. His bickering with Windy has become like nails on a chalkboard to me, and I had to stop...Read full review »

Been listening for awhile and Windy these dudes don’t sound like they like basketball. All these digs and slights on players. Go cover something else cause it’s clear you are hate watching these games.

Hey guys, first off I love the show and am glad to have come across you guys as well as other entertaining/informative podcasts in the wake of the Damian Lillard trade 🙏🏿☺️ Now to my question is there a player that you guys think is overrated but is rated 10-15 spots higher than you would...Read full review »

Always love the show , listening since ‘18
Hue b via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 04/25/24
Topics are fine but these guys just spend every episode trying to talk the loudest and over the top of each other. Have a get together off mic and sort it out cos it’s so irritating to listen to

Or Warriors.

Since when is DPOY a team award? Wemby causes more lane U turns than LA rush hour. Those are blocked shots. Ask Draymond.
Raj Fan via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 04/03/24
Get windy off the show. Can’t stay objective, always fan-boying over Wemby. Has a huge head, thinks he’s an all time basketball analyst or something. He’s been carried by lebron and the two Tims his whole career. Hope he keeps struggling to sleep.
reissydee via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 04/03/24
If you took McMahon off, I’d listen to every episode. He is so annoying.
cpurtjunkiefan via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 04/02/24
Lots of whining, bickering, and corny jokes.
Rrrobbbbb24 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 03/29/24
Windy is a good host because he’s good at not having any controversial takes. Maybe because he’s afraid of being wrong or not sure. Tim McMahon is a goofy character, can be funny, but doesn’t really give any fresh analysis. Bontemps was definitely bullied earlier in his life, the man is bitter,...Read full review »

How do they decide whether to discuss Lakers/then Warriors or Warriors/then Lakers? Maybe someone should tell them the NBA has a new thing called the Eastern Conference.
TokyoCelt via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 03/28/24
Windhorst is amazing. He is greatly held back by his co-hosts who interrupt and bicker like the least popular kid in the 7th grade. Truly annoying and they contribute nothing. Would love to see the supporting cast swapped out for processionals. Not sure why espn still has these clowns on payroll.
faux_anonymity1 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 03/27/24
But for the love of god please no more Windy Story Time. No one wants to hear a full pod about journalists lives. If you want to change the format of the show start a new pod or at least label the pod so I can skip those episodes.
Shevek2020 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 03/25/24
Windy cites Celtics ‘historic win’ against Warriors team down two starters at the end of a four game Eastern Conference road trip. This is but one example of the ‘over the top’ reporting that can make listening to the pod a tiresome experience. If you can get past the ‘First Take’ level of...Read full review »

One of the best NBA podcasts, full stop. Windy and McMahon are fantastic, Pelton and Youngmisuk are excellent… Bontemps can’t stop interrupting and is Embiid’s personal publicist. Enough Marc Spears, please. He was incoherent on the most recent appearance and seldom adds value. Essential...Read full review »

You know. I like this podcast. I enjoy the banter and insights but good grief c’mon guys. Enough. Enough already about Luka. Enough about teams that aren’t going anywhere in the playoffs. Love Brian’s staid and knowledgeable approach to reporting and analysis. Unfortunately Bontemps and McMahon border on unlistenable far, FAR too often. Both Tims offer worthwhile insight when focused, but wow can they get sidetracked by petty grievance, particularly Bontemps. I’m genuinely...Read full review »
