The best of the worst
Don't even bother trying to find another podcast about horror movies, just subscribe to this one. I will have saved you hours of frustration, and you can thank me later...and trust me, you will. Sean and Joe put a lot of effort into making it sound like they are just sitting down and recording a show, but trust me, a massive amount of time, work, and expense goes into making a podcast this good. That being said, the mistakes, improv, and sometimes confusion only add to the enjoyment of what is obviously a couple of good friends having a ball talking about the movies they love, and love to hate. I am not kidding, every episode has me literally laughing out loud, and I can't help but think how much fun it would be to sit down with these guys and do a show. They make you feel like you would be instant friends, and you listen like you are in the room with them all laughing together and having a great time. There are a multitude of horror movie podcasts out there, and it is obvious after listening to most of them that it's a just people sitting in front of a laptop with a RadioShack mic, no compression, no preparation, no editing skills, and nothing interesting, meaningful, or entertaining to say. It's only by comparing such amateur trash to the real deal that you realize that Sean and Joe have really focused on putting out the best product they can, and it truly is fantastic. I can hardly wait for each episode, and I hope they continue to podcast for many years to come. Thanks so much guys, great job!!! -Rusty KnorrRead full review »

This show was just what I was looking for. Great mix of classic and modern horror movie talk. Good recommendations of movies. They make you feel like you’re right in the room with them, like they’re your best horror nerd buddies and a great sense of humor as well. Keep up the great podcasting.

Two guys who are die-hard horror fans sit down and chat about the essentials, cult classics, and films that just need to be watched because of how wild and maybe bad they can be.
