“I love reading horror novels and reading the synopsis to horror movies, but I cannot handle actually watching most of the films because it’s typically way too intense for me to sit through. This podcast blends those aspects perfectly. I love hearing Todd’s reactions as the crew describes the plot of the movie. I also LOVE the trivia Jen shares and hearing their ratings. My major qualm (and this has gotten MUCH better in more recent episodes than the earlier ones) is the hosts and guest talking over each other constantly. It can be disorienting to listen to and very difficult to follow what’s happening. In line with that can be the extremely long tangents that go on for way too long that have nothing to do with the film or just laughter that seems to go on for forever. It’s almost like listening to people talk about an inside joke that you’re not part of. I beg you - please be more liberal with editing of some of this out. Otherwise, I think the chemistry between the hosts is great and I love hearing about movies I know I’ll never watch but am interested in. Definitely looking forward to hearing more episodes!”

“It honestly makes me laugh when they say to go follow them. I usually listen to true crime podcasts. So when they asked to follow me on Instagram I got worried it was some weird sex thing. But they’re pretty funny and I can space out to them while I’m at work.
