“I have a deep-seated anger towards Chris and Chad for producing this podcast. I myself am new to the world of podcasts, having just started a new job where I spend 7-8 hours alone in a room, they are a helpful way to pass the time. One of my first podcasts was hppodcast, being a big Lovecraft fan. Unfortunately, since discovering this podcast, I have been unable to find any others that have come close to equaling the quality of entertainment that I receive each week from Chad and Chris. Thanks a lot guys for setting me up for failure.
In all seriousness, hppodcraft 's weekly overview of one or two Lovecraft stories provides such a perfect balance of well-infromed commentary with entertaining humor. They often have guests who know Lovecraft's work intimately, from ST Joshi to Stuart Gordon, though Chad and Chris are well able to provide wonderful insights on their own. The quality of the production is superior, with great music and weekly guest readers (Andrew Lehman being the best of them). Critically perceptive, without being overly academic ; clever and quirky without going off on silly tangents, Chris and Chad provide a professional high quality product that never disappoints.
