“The majority of the co-hosts need some training on being an on-air personality. Sara Friedman's vocal fry is distracting to no end, which is a shame, because the woman has solid takes on a lot of these topics. But I find myself having to skip entire segments of an already short show because the vocal fry bothers my ears. Important to note that I listen to many podcast and can sit through much vocal fry, but hers just happens to be unbearable.
Any host that is going to carry the episode needs to understand that they have to sometimes push beyond their personality for the sake of sounding engaging and interesting.
