Varied and enjoyable views on modern literature
Transparency, I'm an English Major who more or less stopped reading recreationally for several years. This podcast led me to dive back in and my life has most certainly be enriched as a result. Being well-aware of the predispositions of the primary podcasters thanks to their video-game podcast helps, but the range of different works and the amount of enthusiasm conveyed should make this interesting to anyone. I definitely find myself disagreeing with some of the opinions found herein, but that allows a level of discourse in the listener community that I've also found valuable. Occasionally I wish the conversations went on even longer, but I suppose that's a good problem to have.

More reviews of The Idle Book Club
Chris and Sarah are a very nice couple who like books. Listening to them respectively discuss their thoughts about a piece of literature is delightful. Having read the book helps, but they're still very pleasant podcast hosts regardless.

A great podcast that focuses on shared experiences over literary theory
