As the story concludes, Paul's withdrawal and Pablo transcendence become manifest.  We see how the implications of The Innerglow Effect have impacted all the principle characters.  God has the final word, it would seem.

Paul's increasingly bizarre actions come to a head as he confronts Juan.  Juan handles the crisis expertly and we learn Juan's take on The Effect.

As the full meaning and implications of The Innerglow Effect come into focus, Paul's erratic character becomes more of a problem.  The sexy drug rep Rita meets Pablo.  Paul's fears become a raw nerve.

Pablo and his old mentor Juan have a heart to heart about The Effect, and Pablo begins to understand.  Father Juan, turns out to be quite the handful.

Our stars begin to figure out something of what The Effect means.  Pablo begins to show signs of maturing into a better person.  Paul is challenged by meeting a seductive drug company representative and tries to glean her intent.  Paul also comes under pressure from his wife, who thinks he's going overboard with his investigations.

Events for our heroes really pick up, but their understanding is no better.  They seek help from an old and wise retired priest.  Some friction develops between Paul and Pablo.

Tentatively, Paul and Pablo share their insights about The Effect, but slowly, not wishing to sound too cooky.  They begin researching The Effect, including their first candid interview with a victim.  Nothing is clarified, and their questions mount up.

In this episode, we follow Paul as he interacts with the quirky patients and staff.  He runs a Trauma Code to save the life of a desperatey ill fall victim, who may have The Effect also.  In the course of their duties, Paul and Pablo finally meet.

In this episode we meet Pablo Morales, a Catholic priest.  As well as getting to know him, we see the stresses which he's presented with and barriers thrown up at him.  Some of his frustrations are detailed.  He interviews a woman how may have suffered the Innerglow Effect.

We meet the ER doctor Paul Wellfellow and get to know him.  The details and action of a physician in a Big City ER are documented.  The first victim of the Innerglow Effect spikes Paul's curiosity.  We see how daily life in an intensive medical setting really is.
