Excellent podcast!
I love paleoanthropology and population genetics, but after college I ended up in a field that isn’t even remotely related to those interests. Enter this podcast! As someone who isn’t in the field and no longer has access to fancy, expensive research journals, this podcast is a nice way to stay current on the ever changing landscape of genetics, paleoanthropology, and human migration. The hosts are knowledgeable about the topics and clearly have an excellent scientific background in the field, but they also strive to make the topic accessible for people who are interested but aren’t trained in genetics. I highly recommend the podcast for anyone interested in these topics, as this field is quickly changing and very exciting, and this podcast can help keep you current and more informed.

As a researcher but a non-member of the field, I greatly appreciate Razib and Spencer's simultaneous approachability and willingness to go in-depth into the material. It's a wonderful podcast, for amateurs and scientists alike.Read full review »

Very interesting show, genetic knowledge of our pre-history is fascinating and developing right now. A great real-time view of humanity's past. Each show is self-contained, so just choose one and decide if you want to listen to the rest.
