Best podcast on human population genetics
The study of ancient DNA is revolutionizing our understanding of human history at an unprecedented pace. Theories of "what happened" thousands of years ago, which have been hotly debates for decades if not centuries, are being definitively resolved *right now* on a yearly if not monthly basis. This podcast, run by two well-known and highly regarded geneticists, Spencer Wells and Razib Khan, is at the cutting edge of that field. It's not only enormously interesting, but also valuable -- you will, quite literally, obtain from this podcast more accurate information about many ancient populations and their movements than from entire books on the subject that existed a decade ago. For anyone that is even remotely interested in the study of human history via genetics, or in how human genetic differences manifest themselves in daily life, I highly recommend trying out The Insight.
