“I am a regular listener of the New York Times’ The Daily, but was looking forward to some competition from another well respected professional news outlet.
Being an American, the news coverage from The Economist is obviously more global then the NYT’s, which can be for better or worse depending on the day. But the variety of the stories and veracity of the reporting is excellent, smart and interesting.
It is available by 6 a.m. Eastern Time which is ideal for my purposes.”
