“I’ve been a lover of Jillian since the Biggest Loser first aired. While then in my 20s, I’ve fell in love with her approach to health and wellness and guidance to lifestyle changes vs. the fad of the day or decade nutrition, diets, etc. Fast forward 20 years, I still follow Jillian and found her podcast a few years ago along with her app.
As a mom of 5, a DNP, a wife, and a human being who’s looking to stay healthy and serve as a role model for health and wellness for my kids, Jillian’s podcast is a lifesaver! I don’t have to listen to a bunch of podcasts or review a bunch of articles, I can find much of my info on health and wellness and as of more recent, other pertinent life topics, right on her podcast. Jillian always leaves it to the listeners to make their own choices and opinions, but makes it easy to hear the evidence by sharing scholarly resources as well as bringing on a host of experts in the topic at hand each podcast. I’ve now found Callie and Casey Means, Dr. Munoz, Dr. William Li and Dr. Sabeez….all which are now people I follow and read their books, etc.
Like Jillian or not, her podcast is worth the listen ! She knows her stuff! I personally love her and always enjoy her sarcasm, sense of humor, her humility and her clearly transparent care of people. She’s got a heart of gold and love that she’s expanding into other topics and yet remains relevant, scientific and evidence-driven.
