The American College of Pediatrics is a political advocacy org that says gay people can’t be good parents and advocates for conversion therapy. They are NOT the same thing as the American Association of Pediatrics which fully supports gender affirming care and denounces the Cass Report (as it has multiple methodological failures). And the WPATH files take a bunch of innocuous quotes out of context to paint doctors as villainous, when really what it shows is doctors grappling with the complexity of trans care - this is not evidence that trans affirming health care is bad! It just shows that thought is being put into doctors’ decisions.
The fact that the podcast is falling for these surface level manipulations should make you question everything else they present as facts.”
