“I've been listening to Jimmy and Stef's Comedy and Everything Else podcast for a long time now, and this show is a natural offshoot to that one. I value many things about this show in particular, not the least of which is Jimmy's very funny take on the insanity and lack of insight of the right in US politics.
One specific thing Jimmy has raised to an art form, however, is the way in which he brings audio clips of various shows and interviews to this show (e.g. Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Meet The Press, etc.), and just rips them to absolute SHREDS in the funniest and most biting way imaginable. From the comedy side, when he shredded up Jay Leno's White House Correspondents' Dinner roast to Obama last year, he proved to me that he is the best at incisive, biting, and critical commentary of all topics political and comedy-related. That episode had me roaring. He also did the best job of any I've heard and taking apart Dr. Laura's unbelievably racist n-word rant in what thankfully turned out to be one of the final episodes of her radio show last month. I've played that episode to several of my friends and family -- it was truly a moving show that he did.
I really love this show and I deeply appreciate all of the effort and great writing that Jimmy and his collaborators put into it. It's absolutely top-drawer entertainment and tremendously informative, too. I never miss a single episode.
