It’s hard to interview at 53yo
I was with a job for 18 years, laid off, and grabbed the first job I could get. There for 2 yrs with no chance of advancement, I was stuck, and afraid. This podcast gave me the tools and the confidence to go for a better job. How to be in interview #1, 2, the questions I should NOT ask, be humble, tell them why you want to work for them…not just anywhere with better pay and advancement options. The episode with a woman discussing pay said I can’t tell them I want x amount above their offer without telling them why and offering solutions to them on how to “bridge the gap” netted me 10% (I asked for 15 ;). Thank you so much. I encourage anyone to listen/study these episodes multiple times as I did in the car on my way to my OLD job. Thanks again!
