*Watch out for the odd swear 🙉*
Our guest this week is the is the award-winning author, columnist, brand strategist and now founder of a new guided journaling app Storia, Elizabeth Uviebinené.
Elizabeth tells us how she started her career in corporate marketing but became a full time author and speaker in 2018 when she co-wrote inspirational best selling award winning guide to life for a generation of black British women Slay in your lane: the black girl bible.
Now, she's in her 'hardest role yet' as the founder of Storia, an app designed to allow users to journal as a community - sharing their most important thoughts with like-minded people. To help us feel connected and less alone in a way maybe more real than on social media.
We discuss,
starting something new (and finding the courage to do it!)
the beauty (and necessity) of networking when you work alone
gratitude practice
and how to start an app.
Don't forget to subscribe wherever you listen, and recommend to a friend who'd enjoy this episode.
