“When this show stopped on Talksport I was plunged into an abyss of depression.
My daily attire was now accompanied by an ever present black armband and I shuffled about aimlessly dribbling and mumbling incoherently to myself.
I would regularly cry myself to sleep and then wake up, drenched in sweat and tears and scream "WHY?"
I was a broken man.
Then like a phoenix from the flames the show came back.
Rebranded as The Kickabout, my favourite radio show and the accompanying podcast has returned and once again my life has meaning!
It's as good if not better than it was before.
Johnny and Gav are hilarious week after week and the portion of the show which is dedicated to Rugby Leagueeee and ethical meat processing is genius.
Co presenters Roger and Clive give the show a new depth and it all adds up to a belter of a broadcast.
Mexican handbags have also returned and this remains a favourite portion of the show although saying that, the buggers haven't read out any of mine for months.
Speaking of impressive portions, I'm hoping that in the future the production team can rehire Butch to give us the injury news because his section albeit short was perfectly formed, diverse and informative. His devotion to Kyle Walker's hamstrings went above and beyond the call of duty.
My only constructive criticism is I would like the show to be an hour longer.
Great work lads.”Read full review »

But now finding them on X means I have found a treasure chest!!! In old Mexican handbag speak - this is no Chinese...”Read full review »
