Lay off people
I have only listened to one episode (there are only two out) and I came to the reviews to see if others were as angered by the story itself as I was, and to rave about the fact that this story was being told. I hadn’t even noticed anything about the way the host spoke. After reading the reviews, yes, I can hear some “vocal fry” but overall, this is just a non-issue. Meridah is clear, she is pleasant, and so far the story is very compelling. I can not believe how these kids were treated! As a mom my blood is boiling! Thanks for reporting this!

Did anyone listen to the playback of this and how the narrator makes the podcast truly un-listenable with her gravely vocal fry? I’m so disappointed because the content is interesting but I couldn’t make it through more than two minutes. The end of every phrassssssee isssss so friedddddddd. Ugh.

Two episodes is not enough. I really liked this story & hoped there would a follow up to what appeared to be a change in the system.
