Lay off people
I have only listened to one episode (there are only two out) and I came to the reviews to see if others were as angered by the story itself as I was, and to rave about the fact that this story was being told. I hadn’t even noticed anything about the way the host spoke. After reading the reviews, yes, I can hear some “vocal fry” but overall, this is just a non-issue. Meridah is clear, she is pleasant, and so far the story is very compelling. I can not believe how these kids were treated! As a mom my blood is boiling! Thanks for reporting this!

The vocal fry is a bit challenging to listen to.

Can’t tolerate the narrator’s vocal patterns.

Great podcast so far. Just work on the vocals. I thought I had the speed turned down to 1/2 .. but no it was 1 . For anyone who is having trouble listening to the vocal fry, turn the speed up it helps a little.
