“I listened to the first episode and couldn’t bear the thought of listening to the rest of the episodes because of the irritating voice narrating the podcast. It’s interesting to see from other reviews that I’m not alone. I also note from other reviews that apparently this is a sexist remark! No it isn’t, it’s constructive feedback which the narrator can take on board to make future recordings more listenable. Vocal fry is simply unpleasant on my ears and I stopped listening for that reason. Nothing nasty intended, no sexism, just an unpleasant experience on the ears for which I’m giving feedback.”
