Missed opportunity
I’ve listened to the first three episodes and it’s disappointing. Which is a shame since it could be so much better. Monroe is an interesting character so it shouldn’t be that hard to make an interesting podcast about her, with or without a murder mystery. For a great example of how it might be done really well, check out Missing Richard Simmons. It’s a kind of mystery, although never actually solved, but the narrator is so engaging and tells the story so well that it doesn’t matter that all you do is go for a long enjoyable ride without really getting anywhere. Unfortunately the narrator here is just the opposite, stiff and unnatural and the story as it’s told just isn’t very engaging. That’s a shame, because it could be. Seriously, check out the Richard Simmons one... I’m listening to it a second time, it’s that good.

Meh
Very choppy story telling. Plus, the episodes are so short they don’t really reveal anything of interest. I wish they’d combine episodes and make them hour long so it’d seem like you were hearing a somewhat complete chapter each week. Maybe it’ll get better.
