Excellent writing and even though some of the episodes are written and directed by different people thy go together very well. The story line will keep you hooked

This is my second listen through of all seasons. This podcast is truly one of a kind and expertly done. The fact that they started when podcasts weren’t well known or this well produced, shows how special this show is. The story is so freaking good. I love each and every character.. like I...Read full review »

My name actually IS Kingery, and I approve this message (show).

I started this show at the beginning and at first I was just listening to a few episodes at a time, but then I started to binge on my driving commute and now I’m catching the chance to listen whenever I can. I am addicted to the storyline and the characters of the Family. The acting is nothing...Read full review »

All the characters start acting crazier and crazier and it’s just garbage content.

Everything ' s rushed , with bare minimum done . They need to stop putting out episodes and spend some time learning how to write . All the voices sound the same ,Read full review »

One of the other reviews talked about it being inclusive, but the majority of the characters are so hetero, i'm done listeningRead full review »

The longevity of this show is really impressive. Over the years it has managed to reinvent itself and keep things fresh. If you want a grand sweeping story with fun and compelling characters this is for you!

Just watch the Sopranos or Boardwalk empire. This isn’t Scarface, it’s not even funny enough to be worth it.

Get your actors on the same microphone.

Don’t know why it went on so long. Jumped in the last season. Why did this show make it to ten seasons? Who’s paying to make this?

The first season of the show is maybe the best, but as it goes on, it loses cohesiveness. Listening to the credits, the production team changes enough that it goes through dips and spurts in quality and tone under the changes. Several actors are recast without warning or indications that this is...Read full review »

I've listened to the first few episodes and so far this is a lot of fun. Misfit characters getting embroiled into a criminal underbelly is surely not going to go well...! A lot of imagination has gone into this - there's a whole new world waiting to be discovered. It's all very...Read full review »

Fun, sexy, and action packed. Show is well produced as it moves on. First episodes are a little rough for audio quality as it started ten years ago. The show is still in active development today and the creators keep everyone up to date on timelines in their TWIP podcast. This is a lovely adult...Read full review »

Just found this while looking for OTR of which I am a fan. Delighted to see the tenacity, spent 10 years hosting and producing a podcast and know how much work it is. Excited to work my way through the archive. Enjoy the writing and how you bring it to life. Keep up the great work.

For 11 years and 9 seasons, The Kingery has been one of Pendant’s top programmes, and there’s still more to come! Criminals, space, lotsa larfs and sex, but it also has a heart. Extremely LGBT-inclusive, both with the characters and the cast and crew. It’s never too late to catch up!

I love the concept of SoL vacations, the "mob" ties and just general story. It's fun! IMHO it's still one of Pendant's best since the great purge.Read full review »

This podcast started out really well with an intriguing storyline, but lately there is an increase in the foul language that really detracts from the story for me. If it does not improve, I will no longer be able to listen. I don't need to hear a "bad" word every other word for...Read full review »

A wonderful thrillride brought to you by some of Pendant's best writers, the show never ceases to entertain, mixing action, drama, plot-twists and more than a little comedy. Fans of mob shows should check this out.Read full review »

I admit, I was kind of skeptical of some of the promos I heard (a soul vacation? er, SOL?) but man, this is really interesting stuff. It's like the Sopranos on Deep Space Nine. A grittier kind of premise, and some challenging stuff for audio (like the officer who is a guy...hiding in the body...Read full review »

This is what you'd get if you cross The Sopranos with Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy -- tough talking mobsters, gender-switching cops, technicians dropped into the deep end on their first day, and shoot-outs in an interstellar whorehouse. Engaging performances, intriguing story,...Read full review »
