This is my absolute favourite podcast. It’s always so interesting and cheerful, and it makes me feel connected to nature even if I’m having to be inside for some reason. I listen to it whenever I need reassuring that there is hope for nature!

I’ve listened to many of the podcasts and found them very interesting and informative. Last week I went to the Knepp Castle Estate for the first time and walked the “red” walk. I wasn’t disappointed and was also lucky enough to see 10+ white stork soaring above me. I look forward to more...Read full review »

I’ve learnt so much from this podcast, from how sung beetles work to the underground communications between trees, to the behaviour of pigs and deer. Now I’m beginning to hear about the regenerative farming and it is fascinating and inspiring. Thank you Penny Isabella Charlie and Russ!

Really super variety of topics all related to what is happening at Knepp. How lucky to be able to hear from leading specialists or researchers with Penny intuitively asking all the questions that we would ask if we were there in person

Penny has a gift for podcast hosting. Always hard when two experts are speaking to each other. She does a fantastic job. Listened to some of these as I walked around the project this morning. Storks standing in their nest at sunrise on a frosty April morning. I suspect not very easy to beat...Read full review »

Huge congratulations to Penny and the team for these entertaining and informative podcasts. Sadly we couldn’t fully enjoy listening to the indomitable Matthew Oates because of the recording sound level difference between him and Penny. We constantly had to wind the volume up or down in order to...Read full review »

Found out about Knepp after seeing them mentioned on Springwatch. Have since been so keen to visit the estate, but with the pandemic it’s not on the cards. This really is the next best thing! Loving the geeky jokes and jovial chats while learning about native and visiting species.

This is such an enjoyable podcast. Penny & her guests obviously love what they do and bring a sense of wonder & excitement to the rewilding of Knepp Estate, all the creatures great & small that find their way there, and the seemingly miraculous journey they are on. I have both read...Read full review »

How wonderful to be given such insights into the beautiful song, and then to be given enough time to listen properly. Thank you for some wonderful moments that I listen to more than once.

Thank you so much for this podcast, informative and a delight to listen to the nightingales and find out about nesting, breeding and habitat. The discussion about scrub was also so interesting . Thank you

As a Knepp ‘newbie’ I am delighted to have been pointed to this podcast. A real pleasure to have the ‘beauty’ of scrub explained and especially its importance for nesting birds rearing the next generation. Despite thoroughly enjoying the descriptions and explanations of Penny and co the highlight...Read full review »
