“Always getting told to send in a "short review", ok, I am doing it. First of all, I like the texts and their subtle humour. It is not loud and if there is a pun it highlights a precise observation (i.e. "I wonder if anyone has ever described me as a man's man. Unfortunately, I don't think I'm a woman's man either").
So why has this short and easy to listen to podcast so few listeners? Firstly, I do not listen as an iTunes user and do not know if that shows in the statistics. More important, secondly, what is this name? I am not an American and the pronunciation of the verb "kvetch" is more ambigous than the texts themselves. Commenting on the guideline for psychological work with men might also not be a kvetch. I still like the name. It takes a long time to type in and search though.
As I first discovered the blog on "psychologytoday" and the most popular text "How to attract women" last, I would like to listen to one or two "serious" episodes. A conversation about "mansplaining" would be interesting and how it could be just two different kinds of communication (and how to learn the other "style" as a man/woman). Or maybe read one text from you followed by another text from another person on the same topic to keep the format. Preferably a professor.
P.S. : Congratulations on 50 episodes and one of the most authentic podcasts.”Read full review »

“This is the long-awaited podcast from Professor Sherman of SUNY New Paltz! He’s written probably 1000’s of columns for the New Paltz Times over the years and this is the new iteration of those. Invaluable life lessons abound... but not without some sarcasm and loads of self-deprecating humor!...”Read full review »
