Class and Crass
What's so incredibly refreshing about this show is that the hosts (see: co-chairs) are actually educated, articulate, have amazing natural chemistry, and are insanely funny. Jack, a validictorian, has all of the fascinating history and insider information you could ever want about the greatest shows that fake-sports have ever created. JP, an actual legitimate performing artist, (that also graduated cume laude, I believe) provides some of the best voice acting and running characters that I've ever heard. It's actually really impressive. Other wrestling podcasts tend to be produced by amateurish fans that mindlessly review new episodes of Raw. Not this one. These guys go for the juggular. They review the best shows from when wrestling was in its prime. The Lapsed Fan scratches the nostaligia itch, sits you down for a captivating historical lecture, and also provides a convivial crass carnival of impersonations and humor. These two will be in the middle of explaining the backstage politics for Wrestlemania 13 and then spontaneously burst into an impromptu scene with "Lapsed Vince McMahon" going into a tyrannical rant about murdering Ted Turner. I have laughed so hard at Jack and JP's assorted characters that I've almost gotten into car accidents whilst listening. Listen to this podcast. Pick the episode for your favorite Wrestlemania from when you were a kid,, and then go from there. You won't be disappointed.Read full review »

Jack and JP knock this one outta the park. I was feeling like Scrooge, then I find this little gem which litterally turned my frown upside down! Thank you boys for the greatness!
