A very mixed bag.
The Lapsed Fan is a very informative podcast that has revealed information to me that no other wrestling podcast would have. There are laughs to be had throughout... if you're willing to wait for them. Many of the jokes fall flat. Half of J.P.'s impressions are tremendous, the other half makes me want to turn the podcast off and go to one of the other, better wrestling podcasts I listen to. Helen Hart, Stu Hart, and Ric Flair are the worst of the impressions, while Bob Caudle, Vince McMahon, and Jim Herd are the absolute best. Jack is a great host for the most part, but his jokes are almost never funny, and his Pat Patterson impression is one of the worst on the podcast. The length is a problem, no matter how much they try to spin it, because most of it is dragging through jokes that go on for too long. That being said, as mentioned earlier, there may not be a more informative podcast with as much interesting content as the Lapsed Fan. When these guys get it right, they're the funniest guys in the podcast world. It isn't perfect, but it's worth a listen.Read full review »

I gave it a try as Jack's interviews on Sherdog were quite good; I was sorely disappointed by a stream of...Read full review »

Jack and JP bump off the top, run the razor, drop the knee and lay in the chops to add stars to my review. FLAAAIRRR
