“Totally get that JL wants to dress up (so to speak) nonfiction podcasting, and agree that respect for truth is deeply, urgently critical to the survivial of the republic--but all the fluffy production frills gravely detract from the stated goal (the unfortunate digression with the cows, for example). The listener takes away the louche "true crime" atmosphere, not the importance of clues to understanding context and uncovering truth. An opportunity missed.”Read full review »
