The need for the familiar
Back in the day, me ma used to tottle around the house listening to Radio 2, a useful distraction from the menial tasks she would be undertaking, such as washing me dad's skiddie undies, or mopping the kitchen floor with Starbright. It was the familiar and warming voices coming through the speaker that made it bearable for her. Post pandemic, this same scenario enters my life, but it's all made OK by talk of Barry's tea, finger licking in public and little known scouse facts. Cheers fellasRead full review »

This is a brilliant show. I’d missed listening to Gareth since he left TAW. Together with Paul, they’re a dynamic duo and a pleasure to listen to. Tony

Brilliant show, always entertaining and a good laugh. Just two guys talking and makes you feel like you’re sitting beside them. Have found myself laughing out loud, would highly recommend

Brilliant first episode. Loads of funny stuff, food nonsense and some good old moaning. Perfect content for a fellow 40 something. Love the ‘between 2 pines’ set design also 😉
