Complex ideas in a highly digestible presentation
If there were a mantra I carry with me about learning, and always will, it will be “retrieval enhances learning”. It’s something that was always innate within my study practices, but I never thought about *why* it was effective. And being conscience of doing it makes it that much more effective! Being aware of ones cognitive process helps anyone learn more efficiently. The tools and examples presented on these podcasts help with that awareness for teaching and learning!

There’s not been an episode that I haven’t learned something new that’s piqued my interest into further research. The content is always relatable and most time, easily applied in a classroom or school setting. Thank you so much for making research available to those doing the daily work!

Fantastic podcast with very engaging content. What’s more, I can see how I would be able to incorporate some of these strategies (particularly about concrete and abstract thinking) into my own practice. Very useful and highly interesting look at the role of cognitive psychology in the classroom.
