“I very much enjoyed the episode where they discussed An Extraordinary Union by Alyssa Cole. Rhonda did research that supported the plot, they acknowledged that the novel is well written, and IMO it was very moving to hear Frank say, “and why should we make fun about romance?”
The romance genre is very often put down, so it is genuinely refreshing to hear librarians admit that, even though this is not their genre of choice, they are able to praise it in an honest way. Love the podcast, always have, and we are here listening.”
