“I’m a teacher in Aus.. I've struggled with it since the very start. It was never what I thought it would be. Not for me, not for any of the children I was charged to teach. Then I had my own kids. The direction they bring to their own learning and development is just magic. I am loving being their facilitator to early life. I get to open doors and watch them fly. They are still very young.. but as school age gets closer and closer I’ve realised I would never want them in that system. I don’t want their developing sense of self diminished or criticised. I don’t want them to go to school. I’m a teacher, I could do it right? But I’m trained to teach within a system.. so I’ve been consumed by doubt and misconception. Then I found this podcast. It has become the fuel for my homeschooling fire. I know I can homeschool now. I know it will be the most magnificent thing.
