“I've just listened to Suzy's amazing podcast and I am making my pledge RIGHT NOW (even though my hair needs drying! and I could make a million other excuses...)
I pledge that by the 1st September 2020 I will have finished the first draft of my book. I currently have 18,537 words and my aim is 80,000. My book is about all the things that I think teenagers and young adults REALLY need to know (rather than all the random stuff I currently have to teach in a secondary school).
I also pledge that when I go back in to school in September I will set up an extra-curricular club so that I can staright away start teaching the things in the book to the kids.
Thank you Suzy for giving me the space and the kick up the backside to set a very clear intention!
