The Most Important Podcast
If I were forced to live with only one podcast, and I subscribe to many (many), it would be this one. Nobody can address such a complex and difficult topic with such complete, but accessible, clarity. I am very picky about art podcasts… heck, nobody can agree on what art is let alone explain something as challenging as Duchamp’s Urinal. It happens to be one of my favorite pieces by the one of the artists I consider essential – and her episode on that piece alone sold me. After that, I went back and listened to all that came before, subscribed to never miss new installments, and joined Patreon so that I can give back and help support this project… ‘cause I don’t want to lose it. Whether ya want a clue, expand your clue, or challenge your clue, this is a great place to go. Visit often – and support… it’s worth it.

Each easy to listen to episode gives wonderful background on the artists and eye-opening insights on the art work. I am an avid museum goer, but I have learned so much from this podcast. Terrific all around.

Tamar combines awesome in person observations with cultural and historical context that’s interesting and engaging. I binged the whole series in a week. Can’t wait for more!
