Exactly what I've always been waiting for
The Lonely Palette is the podcast I have been waiting for. Tamar's intelligent guidance through the history and aesthetics of some of the most critical works of art is like that of an expert friend - intelligent and knowledgeable, but casual and trustworthy. She manages to walk the fine line between more "creative" museum experience pedagogy (like visual thinking strategies) and more didactic practices. This balances creates episodes that are educational, inspirational, and a joy to listen to. I can't recommend it highly enough. Listening makes me so proud to be a Bostonian.Read full review »

I always feel smarter after I’ve heard one of Tamar Avishai’s episodes. I also feel I’ve been entertained, stimulated, and befriended by one sassy teacher. Really forward to every episode! It’s my every-other-Wednesday treat.
