Art for the Non-Artsy
I like art, but don't usually have time to stop and sniff the canvas, so having a weekly-ish podcast helps me do that. The Lonely Palette does a really nice job of breaking down art in a way that appeals to even non-artsy types. It's fun to hear reactions from average joes, and then dive in to learn about about the history of a piece. I especially love how she talks about the works without sounding condescending or snobby (as art historians sometimes do). And I could listen to her voice for days! You can tell that she's often smiling as she talks, and that she loves doing this.Read full review »
