This is without doubt the most mind-blowing call-in counterpart to the Amon-Sûl podcast one could possibly hope to have.
Jokes aside, this is one correction of bad Sunday school lessons after another, and all from a biblical perspective (as well as from crazy other texts like the Baal cycle). Father Andrew’s ability to keep a podcast moving at a natural pace and Father Stephen’s biblical and Ugaritic scholarship make this a real treat to the inquisitive listener. I have listened to the whole series twice now, and I look forward to each new episode.
Also, I just want to say, Father Andrew: it’s pronounced “COMP-linn” and not “COMP-line”, and I will die on that hill. Don’t let the terrorists win.”
