Things Get Good in the Third Half
Wow, I just discovered this show, and already I’ve saved several episodes that I know I will have to return to listen to a second and third time. One of the best podcasts I’ve listened to, The Lord of Spirits is funny, deep, challenging, and will leave you wanting more even after three hours. I recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more about the Orthodox faith, biblical history, and dive into complex theological concepts (with the odd Star Trek reference thrown in for good measure!)

Sometimes the tangents are a little frustrating because I’m fascinated by what you’re discussing and the constant asides are a bit much at times. I’m recommending to friends but concerned they won’t wade through the long build up in the beginning. But excellent content.

If there’s anything this podcast is not, it’s “hyper-rationalist”. Every episode is deeply compelling and backed up by scripture, hymnography, archaeology, etc.
