“As an individual who holds progressive values, but prefers moderate (rather than radical) positions as they allow for needed nuance, this show is the closest I’ve found to represent my views. And that’s helpful, so when my conservative relatives try to force me to defend the far left and some story they’re enraged over, I can instead ask them to listen to this — if they disagree with anything said on the show, I’m happy to engage, but I’m not going to be there just so they can rail against whatever conservative media story has been placed in front of them to rile them up.”
