Ok coming back to revise my review because I do really enjoy Ravi’s thoughtful solo takes and the guests that have been on recently (even though I still do miss Rikki!) ----- I’ve been listening for a while and I used to love this show but have lately been missing Rikki’s perspective. I hope...Read full review »

If you are tired of the dumbed-down, knee-jerk, pick your camp type of the current mainstream public discourse, this pod is for you.

I’m a huge fan of this podcast. Been listening to a while. Ravi takes great care to report and discuss various sides of all topics while sharing his views which don’t necessarily follow party lines. Refreshing!

As a Canadian listener, many of the topics covered in this show point out just how different our systems and policies are - politics, education, healthcare, etc. It’s nice to hear from informed and relatively level headed hosts and guests, usually without significantly bias lens and/or...Read full review »

I listen to this show regularly. I appreciate the sanity that Ravi and his guests provide to issues that are often covered with hysteria. This show helps to give me hope that we can solve today’s issues with honest, civil conversations and practical, informed policy. Thank you!

I listen to this show every week and it keeps getting better! I love that it can’t be put into a box and I never know where Ravi’s going to land on a topic.

This is my favorite podcast, which I’ve been listening to for a long time and only today realized I’d never left a review. The program caters to “political eclectics”, those who see the world for the many shades of grey that exist on every subject, vs. populist takes for those posturing to their...Read full review »

Is Rikki still on this show? Where’s the debate?all leftist now.

I enjoy this show as a fresh & different perspective on current events & public policy. Ravi is great and I like the guests & topics, but I miss having the other side/perepective (Rikki)! Please bring her back, even if only as a guest host once a month or so!

Without Rikki Ravi’s Trump derangement syndrome takes over the show. Need to keep the train on the rails!!

It’s nice to have a source of thoughtful analysis that is painstakingly agenda-less. With the current war in the Middle East, this show has become a go-to for a balanced, factual take.

I’ve been listening for a while and I used to love this show but have lately been missing Rikki’s perspective. I hope the debate aspect of this show can come back; there was a refreshing and excellent balance is not there for me at the moment. Also, I was pretty shocked that the guest on a...Read full review »

There have been a few unlistenable episodes but after the Todd Rose episode, I realize this is just the trend of this show. Todd Rose saw CCTV footage of oct 7 and was rightfully horrified by people laughing at executing children and bemoans the binary way Israel/Palestine is discussed then does...Read full review »

Our country would be a better place if more people treated each other the way, Ravi and Rikki do. It’s such a shame that most of our media sources amplify our differences and help us dig ourselves deeper into our personal trenches. I found the recent interview with Tim Alberta a super...Read full review »

Very hard to summarize the Israel-Palestine evolution in an hour, but this was a neutral and detailed explanation. I lived there for a year long ago and have watched the seemingly unstoppable drift toward violence followed by reactionary violence.

This used to be both my go to recommendation for friends and my personal listen for a concise look at the day’s issues, but isn’t any longer. While I can appreciate the deep dives, they’ve gone now from specials to the primary focus of the show. I’m disappointed in the direction and haven’t...Read full review »

I came to this podacast from its 2-parter “unbiased” history of Gaza/Palastine/Israel conflict - which I thought was great. A lot of work went into capturing different perspectives, identifying where perspectives clashed, etc. however I’ve been disappointed in the episodes that followed. It’s...Read full review »

In today’s political climate, I rarely hear anyone offer the perspective of those that have a different—let alone critical—opinion. That’s what I love most about this show. If more of us were open to hearing differing opinions in the way that these hosts do, we’d be much better off as a global,...Read full review »

This podcast reflects where we should be as pro-democracy Americans. A safe place where ideas are attacked instead of people. It’s a stark reminder that our friends on the other side of the aisle are not our adversaries, but rather, they’re our partners in progress.

Ravi is brilliant and his episodes on the history of the Arab / Israeli conflict are the most thoughtful, educational and informative broadcasts I have heard in the last month plus. I learned so much and I thought I had a pretty good understanding of the history of the region. To hear it all laid...Read full review »

I rarely write reviews. I stumbled on this podcast while searching for an unbiased history of Palestine and Israel. After listening to Part 1 I found it was exactly what I was hoping for. More people need to listen to this history, regardless of opinion. I also listened to the second part without...Read full review »

A great podcast. I listen every week now. Rikki is wise beyond her years and Ravi is a critical thinker. Nice to hear at least two views on important topics. Also, keep up the citations to original content in the show notes—very helpful when it is there.

I was on the fence for quite awhile. Now I'm off the fence and am unfollowing. The debate is, indeed, lost on me. Not to my taste at all. Can we please get her to stop finishing every statement sounding like a question??????? Sounds like a 80’s Valley Girl. And why does she constantly use the “libertarian” reference. Other than that, the show Is quite good Ravi saves it with his rational views. No more statements sounding like...Read full review »

Insightful and interesting. Appreciations to your guest for having the courage to share details as his company model responded to the changing environment. Most CEOs never share and would make boring podcast interviewees; this fellow ain’t that.

I really love the idea of this show, but while I sometimes enjoy it, the one thing that ruins it every single time is Rikki. Big, big fan of Lost Debate (part of The Branch Network, I believe). Ravi and Rikki have a great rapport, and their discussions are thoughtful and gracious, both in their conduct with each other but also with the topics they discuss. I’m profoundly thankful for this podcast, which covers a variety of topics that I always learn from, but more importantly that is proving that not everyone simply shouts those that disagree with them down. Excellent quality of discussion and if research.

I've been a listener to this podcast since hearing about it on Bill Maher but the past few episodes might be my last.
