Damn, we've really given being single and lonely a bad rap. There's nothing wrong with being single; let's normalize that.
There's a lot of beauty and freedom in accepting your loneliness for what it is; an opportunity to deepen your relationship your yourself.
And I invite you to see it that way, too.
Be OK with being single. Enjoy your solitude and your singleness, even if you wish things were different.

While all your needs are valid, some of those needs can’t - or won’t - be met by others (no matter how much you want them to or try).
If your need is tied to your self-esteem, your self-worth, your value, or your love for yourself as a person, it’s going to be nearly impossible for others to meet those needs.
They might try and fail because no amount of them trying will meet the need for self-love.
