Literally the best podcast I’ve ever listened to
Before I started listening to this podcast, I loved mysteries, cryptids and conspiracy theories, but I was absolutely terrified of horror, so thank you for helping me overcome that fear. The Magnus Archives sent me down the podcast rabbit hole and I’ve been trapped ever since I started listening to it this time last year. I love how everything is recorded on tape recorders, giving TMA a reason to be a podcast. (I honestly didn’t even care that the audio quality was bad when I first started listening to this) The characters are all fantastic and well written with interesting quirks. I think all the voices fit their characters perfectly (though the boneturner sounds awful. I found that quite funny). I’m really bad at differentiating between voices but they were all unique enough for me to follow along just fine. The mini episodes and Q&As between episodes have also been fantastic to listen to! It’s amazing that Rusty Quill has managed to grow so much since the beginning of TMA which is honesty really inspiring. This show has also made me unable to consume any media without assigning at least one of the fears to it so I thank you for that. I’ve been listening along to The Magnus Protocol since it started and it’s been so much fun creating theories and conspiracies. I didn’t know TMA would have an overarching story when I first started it, so now that I have that knowledge, I’ve been scrutinising ever detail of TMP! Overall, thank you for properly introducing me to the world of horror stories and well done for creating such an amazing show.

I trusted them to make something truely special, well written and well produced. I wasn't disappointed. No use of cheap shock sounds. No use of terrible sound...Read full review »

I never thought I'd be terrified to go to the bathroom at night because of a podcast. The 'Across The Street' episode really made me feel dread, from the sound design to the music and especially the writing. This is a gem, folks. But listen if you dare.Read full review »
