Since I discovered the wonderful world of podcasts about 3-4 years ago, I have been enthralled by a number of them. The Black Tapes, The Lovecraft Investigations and The White Vault being my personal favourites. However, The Magnus Archives is my new number one. It’s scary, intelligent, original,...Read full review »

I’ve heard of this podcast before but I don’t remember where. Oh wait this is a review… great story and I think I might have been brainwashed by this podcast into thinking I know it from some advertisement. 10/10.

This is the first time I have been able to actually interact with horror media (other than books) due to having sensory issues that mean movies and TV shows are not accessible for me. This show has allowed me to interact with horror more and has proven to me how much I enjoy it! I would highly...Read full review »

Twilight zone feels with a underline story to match. Love every minute of it. My cousin and I haven’t stopped taking about it for years.

I hate podcasts!!! But this one is literally my favourite thing to listen to. I listen to one episode on the way to school, and one on the way back. I am currently at episode 77 with the gigantic plotwist. Everyone should listen to MAG!!!

I love this podcast. But what was the madness of the Easter special? It borderline triggered a migraine for me. Thoughts?

This is top-tier podcasting. Everything you want from an audio-drama is here, but probably not for the squeamish. Perfect listening for those looking for a spook when it’s dark and you’re alone in the house. The meta plot fantastic. An enormously fun ride.

One of the greatest horror podcasts. Not the scariest, but a perfect introduction to the genre, with a mix of office comedy, drama and just good horror

As a person who listens to a profound about of horror audio drama podcasts and consumes a concerning about of horror media, the Magnus archives is my hands down absolute favourite. I even listened multiple times, and each time is just as glorious

I need more. My brain is over here exploding with the new TMP episodes. So happy it’s here, I think I’ll never get enough. Constantly gasping at references and voices. Eeeeekkkk

I keep recommending this to everyone, I thought I didn’t even like horror but I love the Magnus Archives. Beautifully crafted and written, great voice acting, immersive soundscaping it pulls you in and does not let you go. It’s creepy and unnerving in the best of ways. The story starts a bit slow...Read full review »

The MP is awesome, just like MA. The only down point is the character of Alice. Otherwise, flawless show!

This podcast is AMAZING! The storytelling is incredible and the voice-acting is great! Totally reminds me of old-timey radio shows and it is sooo easy to binge! Highly recommend!

I just finished the final episode. It is worth listening to all 200. I will never be the same again. It is beautifully written and acted. My only problem is occasionally the sound mixing, statements can be a little quiet compared to ads etc. Suits the mood of the episodes, I guess.

The Magnus Protocol is already so good - I’m on the edge of my seat, cringing with horror and delight through each episode. Can’t wait for the rest of the season!

Wow! I am so excited for what The Magnus Protocol has in store for us! It was a little jarring (in a good way) to hear the retuning cast, and I am very excited to listen to the new cast as well.

I’ve listened since the beginning and it has become my comfort show. It’s nice hearing about people having a worse go of it than you. As my mother always says “it could be worse”

TMA is my favorite podcast of all time, and I am so excited for the Magnus Protocol sequel! The tragic horror, as Alex put it, of TMA keeps me coming back again and again to relisten to the entire show over and over. ** excited squeal** 😆 Prior: I love this podcast. The writing, acting, and production are so uniformly great that even though it’s consistently horrifying and/or creepy, I find it as comforting as a warm blanket. This is truly a hidden gem, and more people should listen!

I always thought horror wasn’t for me, a lot of it relies on visuals that I can’t access as a blind person. Even most books focus so much on what the characters are seeing that it’s hard for me to understand what’s so scary. This, though… The writing, voice acting and sound design are so good...Read full review »

The show itself is great. Entertaining from start to finish with great voice acting and production. I’d also like to shine a light on the “extras”.
