Such good acting. Amazing production. Delightfully creepy! One of my top 5 favorite podcasts of all time. Cannot commend the creators enough for this work.

The Magnus Archives (TMA) is a delightfully horrific podcast, with an incredible meta-plot and many thought provoking questions naturally built into it. I myself tend not to enjoy horror as much as it triggers my insomnia, but this podcast manages to strike such a perfect spot in that you get to...Read full review »

This podcast IS amazing. The anthological aspected the earlier seasons very re playable. The first four seasons were great. In the fifth season however, had a VERY unique method of telling John and Martin’s story. This method, though very interesting and I praise the show runners for trying...Read full review »

I can’t believe I just finished this podcast. It’s one of the best... things... ever. Out of every movie, book, song... this was the best. It’s so interactive, though I’ve done nothing but listen. I feel like I’m there, the sounds letting me follow right along with the events! I love every...Read full review »

The Magnus Archives is absolutely incredible, full of weird characters, strange happenings, and a plot that keeps you coming back for more. It quickly became my favorite show during 2020, and now that it’s over, I’ve already relistened to the whole thing once—and I’ll be back to do it again, too!

To start off I’m quite late to this but this podcast is so good I had to write a review anyway. As a huge fan of gravity falls weirdly enough this scratched that itch except it’s genuinely scary. A must listen for any horror fan

I’m only on episode 42 right now, but I can confidently say that if you like horror you need to listen to this podcast. It starts out slow, but by episode 14 I was getting consistently terrified. When it isn’t being terrifying, this podcast does a great job at capturing your intrigue. The...Read full review »

Dear Jonny, Alex and the rest of the team. I adore this podcast. It’s so good, with the overarching plots, the relationships, the characters, the writing, everything. The way it took a bunch of seemingly unconnected statements and turned them into a beautiful story. Highly recommend.

The first four seasons we amazing. The fifth season has a good narrative but the individual stories pulled too far away from stories and were more poetry. Still good but it is harder to listen to full episodes now.

This podcast is honestly earth shattering. I started listening to this podcast quite hesitantly as I’m not partial to the gore associated with horror, but this is the kind of horror that doesn’t aim to shock you, it just sits with you. It makes you think about the world you live in and it is...Read full review »

These are SO GOOD! I am so sad I didn’t start listening sooner even though I subscribed a long time ago. The atmosphere, the narration and the format they have created to tell these stories are genius. I’m so intrigued to see if the files start to paint a bigger picture. Great work!

These words are delicious. Savor them as one of their beloved audience. Regret will only brush your cheek when the end comes, but ends are beginnings, so revel in your feast, and don’t concern yourself with the last course. Bon appetit, to my newest fellow member, of their beloved audience.

I would recommend listening up until 160. After that, the plot goes out the window and it’s just incomprehensible. I liked this show a lot but it lost its magic for me. Also, in season five I think there was a little bit of overuse with SFX.

There is something to be said for picking up a podcast with 5 seasons already out. A friend recommended this *spooky podcast* that I might like. Everything about this show, from the writing, to the voice acting, to the audio work, is amazing. I was hooked from episode 1 and binged all of it in a couple months. My only complaint is that it’s over. But it’s a fantastic story and a wonderful ride. Listen to it if you like horror.

This podcast is seriously freaking awesome, an amazing horror podcast but with a cool plot that really picks up. I am about halfway through the episodes, even a bit less, and I can say it’s absolutely worth it even if I can only listen at night and then every little sound in my room seems way too creepy. I love this podcast! The sound design is phenomenal, and so is the voice acting. It’s unsettling and genuinely scary at times, but doesn’t rely on typical scare tactics. Well-written, creepy, and unconventional, The Magnus Archives is one you don’t want to miss!
