“I was lucky to get to listen to their first episode in advance, and honestly I can’t recommend it enough. For only having one episode out so far, this is an excellent start to what can only become an even better and even more captivating actual-play podcast.
I was immediately impressed by the audio quality and the quality of the voices. No playback volume adjustments are necessary, everyone is easily heard and understood, and the audio is simply pleasant on the ears.
The GM, Rhi, instantly sets an interesting and captivating scene from which the game begins. Her description and storytelling invites you into her world. Her players are patient, don't talk over each other, and have created characters that leave you wanting to know more.
Listen for yourselves. The game is a brilliant one of deception, crime, and reputation, and I can't wait to see where Magpies takes their story. I have definitely subscribed to this podcast and eagerly await the next episode. <3”Read full review »
